1. "China Regional Economic Statistical Yearbook 2001" is a comprehensive and systematic statistical data book that reflects the status of China's regional economy and social development. The book collects major socio-economic statistical indicators of China in 2000, as well as data from 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and more than 300 regions and prefecture-level cities. Among them, there are approximately 200 national and provincial indicators and 219 prefecture-level indicators. The main content covers various aspects of socio-economic development, including natural conditions, population and employment, national accounts, fixed asset investment, finance, price indices, people's livelihood, agriculture, industry, construction, transportation and post-telecommunications, domestic trade, foreign economic trade, tourism, finance and insurance, education, science, technology and culture, health, social and municipal construction, etc. This book does not include data from the Hong Kong, Macao Special Administrative Regions, and Taiwan.
2. Due to adjustments in national or provincial data, some indicators in the book may result in regional data sums not equaling the total.
3. In prefecture-level data, the "Other" category in Henan's "Region" column includes Jiyuan City, a county-level city under provincial jurisdiction, and areas not included in prefecture-level administrative office or prefecture-level city jurisdiction. In Hubei and Hainan, "Other" refers to regions directly under provincial jurisdiction. In Shaanxi, "Other" refers to the Yangling High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. In Xinjiang, "Other" refers to Kuqa City.
4. Symbols used in the tables of this book:
- "#" indicates the main item;
- " " (space) indicates data is unavailable or missing;
- "0, 0.0, 0.00" indicates values smaller than the smallest unit.
5. Mechanical errors in processed data in this book due to rounding have not been artificially adjusted.
6. All data in this book are sourced from statistical yearbooks of various levels of government or relevant sampling survey data, and have been scientifically processed, organized, and verified. The data is detailed, reliable, and highly comparable.
