Features: The author is a renowned Korean child psychologist. This book applies knowledge from physiology, psychology, and education to explain the benefits and specific implementation methods of the "Relaxed Learning Method," while also addressing some common concerns of parents. After publishing "Good Mom, Slow Down," I received many encouraging phone calls and emails. I am grateful that this book has brought comfort to many mothers. Some even came directly to me, only now realizing how wrong their actions toward their children were, and broke down in tears of regret. Now, however, they experience the happiness of parenting and smile. Watching them, I couldn't help but cry and laugh with them. At the end, the mothers unanimously expressed the same concern. Despite wanting to raise their children with a relaxed approach, it was difficult to stick to this belief. What if my child falls behind? Am I holding them back? They often felt anxious. It is natural for mothers to have such feelings. In this era, children start learning kindergarten lessons at two, move up to second-grade material in first grade, and even begin middle school subjects in sixth grade. It seems as if mastering things ahead of others can solve all problems. In today's fast-paced educational environment, even with the determination to resist the tide, it is hard to consistently stick to one's principles. "If everyone is teaching, and I'm not, won't I be holding my child back?" This worry pops up dozens of times a day. I used to be the same. As a child psychologist, when I raised my two sons, I repeatedly made the same mistakes mentioned above. To be honest, presenting all these countless mistakes openly to everyone is not an easy task for me. I even have to dredge up memories of arguments with my children over studies—truthfully, it's quite embarrassing. Despite this, for parents who hope for their children's happy growth and desire to raise good children, I am willing to summon all my courage to avoid repeating the same mistakes as me. I truly hope that even if only one mother dares to break free from the "follow the crowd" mindset and personally experience the "Relaxed Learning Method," allowing both mother and child to live happily on "this land," that would be enough for me. Today, I can confidently speak of the "Relaxed Learning Method" because the children raised with this approach are now thriving as outstanding individuals in their lives. Going alone is frightening and worrying, but going together is not. I believe that even with my life at stake, my precious children will find their path through the practice of the "Relaxed Learning Method." I am deeply convinced of this!
