Features: Zhongguancun is the world-renowned "Silicon Valley of China," where countless Chinese wisdom converges. When the global wave of intellectual trends swept across China, workers faced layoffs, and the first to rise and meet the challenge were the science and education intellectuals of Zhongguancun. From their steps in embracing industry, we heard the footsteps of a great nation advancing from backwardness to rejuvenation. Their pioneering efforts revealed a historic opportunity of an era right before our eyes. This book is a long-form (literary reportage) that chronicles the birth and rise of China's emerging advanced social productive forces in Zhongguancun. With the insight of a sage, the work scans and penetrates the rise of Zhongguancun, the entrepreneurial journeys of scientists, professors, and university students like Wang Xuan, and hot issues that affect every household, such as redefining education and why going to college is so difficult. The author also employs innovative methods, writing a "Simultaneous Messages and Reference Stories" in each chapter, revealing the trajectory of global high-tech development and China's gaps and potential. The book also features a masterpiece—the final chapter, "The Three Knowledge Platforms and General Knowledge Abilities Everyone Should Possess," which helps you interpret the world and understand yourself.
