Features: The CCTV Spring Festival Gala has been held for twenty-one editions. In the blink of an eye, twenty-one years have passed, yet there are countless topics to discuss. "Folk Custom Theory," "End Theory," and "Go with the Flow Theory" have surged forward, leaving the Spring Festival Gala ravaged and sieve-like. For as many years as the Spring Festival Gala has existed, people have been talking about it for just as long. Those in favor advocate for the Gala to remain as it has always been, unchanging and persistent. The Spring Festival is a long-standing Chinese holiday, symbolizing family reunion and joy. And for over two decades, the Spring Festival Gala has been joyous, not only helping to foster the atmosphere of family reunion but also alleviating the loneliness of staying up late. It also provides a platform for celebrities and stars to showcase their talents. Such a win-win situation—why can’t some people tolerate it? Therefore, arbitrarily canceling the Spring Festival Gala is neither advisable nor possible. Those against it insist that "the Spring Festival Gala, as an art form and means of dissemination, has reached its end," calling it a "waste of resources and an empty spectacle." All those with "artistic conscience" should raise their hands like a forest and loudly say "no!" to its existence. Thus, its existence can no longer be tolerated. The moderate view, "laughing at the ups and downs of life." Indifferent, let nature take its course—isn’t that fine? If the Gala comes, you can join hundreds of millions of Chinese in listening to jokes and joining the excitement; it delights you, and you should feel grateful for it. If the Gala goes, that’s also fine. Don’t rejoice at others’ misfortunes or grieve over your own; staying detached may even help you have a sweet and fulfilling dream. Haven’t you heard the ancients say: "On the night of the New Year, there’s nothing different from other days—just insert a plum blossom and it’s the New Year."
