Features: Out-of-print novels refer to original works that are long lost and no longer published in the world. They have been preserved to this day, some secretly stored in libraries, others scattered among the people, or even sealed in forgotten corners, making them extremely rare. The reasons for their out-of-print status can be defined as "books become rare because they are rare." Due to the content of these novels, which is often suspected of being "heretical," filled with bizarre theories and lewd language, the authors acted independently, feigning insanity, and their works were thus exceptionally unique, banned or rejected by later generations, ultimately disappearing into the sands of time, such as "The Flesh Pot of Flaming Youth." Many out-of-print novels, though rejected by their time ("pages filled with absurd words, a brick for promoting obscenity"), carry deep meaning, either satirizing social flaws or expressing the authors' own aspirations, thus holding unique value. Of course, some out-of-print novels are filled with or explicit sexual descriptions, which should be considered dross. The over 30 works selected in this collection are of outstanding artistic value, truly exceptional among out-of-print novels.
