Features: This book is a national planned teaching material for secondary vocational education. It is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on introducing the basic principles and maintenance of electric motors, including: single-phase asynchronous motors, DC motors, single-phase series motors, and the basic working principles and maintenance of three-phase asynchronous motors. It also introduces the typical structures and working principles of several control motors such as stepping motors, miniature synchronous motors, and brushless DC motors. The second part emphasizes the structure and typical control methods of household appliance motors, including: the structure and typical control methods of washing machine motors; the structure and typical control methods of fan motors; the structure and typical control methods of refrigerators and air conditioners. It also introduces the principles and control methods of some other household appliance motors, such as audio equipment, kitchen equipment, electric tools, beauty and health equipment, and office automation equipment. The third part is the experimental section, including: single-phase asynchronous motor startup experiments, DC motor recognition experiments, washing machine typical control experiments, fan typical control experiments, and air conditioner typical control experiments. This book can be used as a teaching material for secondary vocational schools in the fields of electronic and electrical application and maintenance, household appliances, and other engineering disciplines, as well as for social training.
