Features: The idea of writing this book first came to me in 2000. That year, I began overseeing the national interconnection and universal use of bank cards, the construction of modern payment systems, as well as treasury, accounting, and statistics-related business. This gave me more opportunities to access relevant materials and situations from the central bank's service departments, conduct some research, and chair discussions on reform proposals. Through these experiences, I learned a great deal and received significant education and inspiration. I worked in the People's Bank of China system for over 20 years and originally thought I was quite familiar with it. However, after having more exposure to service-related operations, I completely changed this view. It also deepened my understanding and appreciation of the central bank's important role and significance in financial services.
