Features: To adapt to the rapid development of computer technology and the needs of vocational and technical college computer education, the Higher Education Working Group of the Education Committee of the China Computer Federation and the Computer Textbook Compilation Committee of Vocational and Technical Colleges began to organize a group of experienced teachers from undergraduate universities, higher vocational colleges, higher vocational and technical colleges, and adult education institutions in July 2000. They studied and referenced the "2000 Computer Science Teaching Plan for Higher Education," and proposed to compile the fourth round of teaching materials for vocational colleges, higher vocational colleges, and adult higher education in accordance with the new computer education plan and teaching reform requirements. This book is based on practicality and introduces the design methods for circuit diagrams and PCBs in Protel99SE. The book is divided into three parts. Part 1 (including Chapters 1 and 2) primarily introduces the interface, basic components, and usage environment of Protel99SE. Part 2 (including Chapters 3 to 8) primarily introduces various methods of editing circuit diagrams, drawing and managing component symbols, generating various reports related to circuit diagrams, and printing circuit diagrams. Part 3 (including Chapters 9 to 13) primarily introduces the basic knowledge of printed circuit boards, manual layout and routing, automatic layout and routing, drawing and managing component packages, and generating various reports for PCBs as well as printing circuit board diagrams. Each chapter is followed by a large number of exercises to facilitate reader review. This book can be used as a teaching material for corresponding courses in universities and vocational colleges, and can also be referenced by circuit design professionals.
