In just a few decades, material civilization has been built that far surpasses the sum of human achievements before. Behind these remarkable accomplishments, people clearly realize the influence of an invisible giant hand that is controlling the pulse of this era. It is also this invisible hand that has completely transformed human consciousness and ways of thinking. This invisible giant hand is called information. Today's society is known as an information society.
