What are the reasons for poor concentration and memory?

Patient's question:

At the age of 4, it was discovered that I had a constitutionally allergic condition, and now I only have a tendency to run a nose; now in first grade, I cannot concentrate my attention and have very poor memory. I always feel that there are many lines connecting many light bulbs in my mind, and I can't remember anything in studies, while other aspects of life are normal.

Doctor's answer:

Your condition may be chronic rhinitis. Chronic rhinitis is a chronic inflammation of the nasal mucosa and the underlying submucosal layer. Its main characteristics include inflammation lasting for more than three months or recurring episodes that do not subside, with intervals failing to return to normal. It is also accompanied by varying degrees of nasal congestion, increased secretions, swelling or thickening of the nasal mucosa, and other impairments. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is referred to as biyuan and can be treated with Cang'erzi San.
