Features: Cartoons were introduced from abroad. "Cartoon" is the phonetic translation of the English word "Cartoon," which refers to animated films, often shortened to cartoons. Cartoons are deeply loved by a wide audience. To bring the content of animated films into households, many artists have drawn scenes from animated films and compiled them into colored cartoon books for publication, winning the affection of a broad readership. Today, cartoon art is no longer limited to the content of animated films. Artists have utilized the characteristics of animated films to create numerous cartoon comic books, and the illustrations in these books are collectively referred to as cartoons. Due to their exaggerated, humorous, and witty features, cartoons are deeply loved by a wide readership, especially children and teenagers. They not only want to watch but also want to draw themselves. To meet the needs of young readers who wish to learn how to draw cartoons, we have specially invited Xu Yongju, a teacher from Rizhao Normal School in Shandong, to compile and illustrate this series of "Children Learning to Draw Cartoons." With years of teaching experience, Xu Teacher employs scientific and innovative teaching methods. Her cartoons are also very appealing. We hope that young friends will enjoy this series and pick up their pens to join Xu Teacher on a journey through the cartoon world, learning how to draw cartoons.
