Features: This book primarily reflects the different fates of individuals on the political stage. Over thousands of years, there have been countless contenders who have navigated these turbulent waters. Some have sailed smoothly, reaching their desired destinations; others have braved storms and ups and downs. Some, like Qu Yuan, remained loyal and virtuous, choosing to drown in the Miluo River; some, like Sima Qian, suffered physical mutilation due to their profound wisdom; and some, like Su Shi, possessed exceptional talent but lived a life of wandering and hardship, remaining unrecognized for many years after his death. On the other hand, there were others, such as Li Linfu and Qin Hui, who were greedy and treacherous, their hearts full of malice, and who brought disaster upon the nation. Yet, they held high-ranking positions and lived lives of fame and fortune. Why is this the case?
