What are the standard height and weight for babies?

Patient's question:

The child has been crying non-stop recently and isn't eating much. What are the standard height and weight for babies?

Doctor's answer:

1~6 months: Weight (kg) = Birth weight (or 3 kg) × Month age × 0.6 (kg);
7~12 months: Weight (kg) = Birth weight (or 3 kg) × Month age × 0.5 (kg);
2~10 years: Weight (kg) = Age × 2.7 (or 8).
Full-term infants' average length is 50 cm. In the first year after birth, they grow approximately 25 cm, so at one year, their length is about 75 cm. After that, they grow about 5 cm per year on average. Therefore, for children aged 2~12 years, their length (cm) = Age × 5 + 75 (cm).
Children with a height exceeding the standard by 10% or below the standard by 10% are considered abnormal.
