Features: This album is a collection of Zhang Zeduan's original work preserved by the Palace Museum. The content of the painting can be divided into three sections. The first section depicts the scenery of suburban rural areas; the middle section primarily portrays the Bian River and the bridges on it; the last section illustrates urban streets, with buildings and shops tightly adjacent to each other. At the end of the scroll, there is a postscript by the Jin dynasty scholar Zhang Zhuo. It is hoped that this album will facilitate appreciation and research by a broad readership and friends from both China and abroad.
