Cuihua, Put Pickled Chinese Cabbage: Xuexian Zishu (VCD)

Author: Xue Cun, Lao Dao
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2001-11-01
Features: Once upon a time, a song titled "Northeasterners Are Living" sparked a craze for Flash animations online. Xue Cun, this musician already dubbed a "musical genius" by foreign media, truly proved the internet as fertile ground for creating heroes. Without any promotion, marketing, or hype, Xue Cun rose to fame almost overnight, thanks to his unique musical style——musical storytelling. The book is divided into three parts:
Part One: Xue Cun honestly recounts his bitter upbringing, revealing many heart-wrenching past events, as well as the joyful moments that brought him joy. He also presents his friends and foes, and openly shares his insights and pursuit of art. Until now, Xue Cun had always been secretive about his past, making this the first complete "Xue Cun Chronicle."
Part Two: A "critique" of the "Xue Cun Phenomenon." No matter how harsh his words, he doesn’t mind, even presenting every song he has created for readers to freely comment on.
Part Three: Transcripts of conversations between Xue Cun and famous figures in the cultural and arts, including Jin Zhaojun, Ying Da, Cai Ming, Huang Jiwei, and Ying Zhuang—his "friends." These "friends" speak without restraint. To make the book more enjoyable, Xue Cun has interspersed numerous of his eccentric images and Flash screenshots of his own songs.
A precious gift is that he has entrusted his record company to collect all the outstanding Flash works related to his creations and to release his newly produced MTV in the karaoke-style preferred by the working masses, as a complimentary VCD collection of Xue Cun’s works to accompany the book！！
