How to solve a sore throat

Patient's question:

I went to the hospital because my throat felt uncomfortable. The doctor prescribed a box of Cephalosporin, which I'm almost finished with. He's still a bit coughing. This is our first time taking Cephalosporin. I heard from others that the first time you shouldn't take the best kind. I just looked it up. How long should Cephalosporin be taken?

Doctor's answer:

The baby is 19 months old and has a sore throat and cough. How many days has it been taking medication? If it has been taking it for many days, it should be stopped.
Advice: Is the cough severe? Is the throat still comfortable now? Drink more water. Regardless of which type of cephalosporin is used, it is an anti-inflammatory drug and can cause side effects. Long-term use will lead to drug resistance. If the throat is not painful and the blood test results are normal, stop the anti-inflammatory medication for a while. If the cough still persists, use some lung-cleaning and blood-cooling herbs.
