Features: Traditional Chinese Medicine is vast and profound, with a long history. Over thousands of years, it has made significant contributions to the health of the Chinese nation. This great treasure trove of medical knowledge, composed of countless exquisite and miraculously effective unique therapies, is what we call "Chinese Natural Therapy." It embodies the culture, philosophy, and wisdom of the Chinese nation. With the rapid development of modern medicine, achievements in biology, physics, chemistry, and many other fields have been applied to clinical practice. However, modern medicine is constantly plagued by a phenomenon: while various therapies aim to treat diseases, they also cause significant harm and side effects to the human body, sometimes even exceeding the therapeutic benefits. Whenever we encounter such issues in clinical practice, we often marvel at the wonders of traditional Chinese medicine and praise the great contributions of our ancestors in establishing Chinese natural therapy for the cause of human health. Therefore, we have the responsibility to introduce more Chinese natural therapies to readers to meet the needs of enthusiasts and professionals alike. Hence, we have compiled the "Illustrated Chinese Natural Therapy" series. This series consists of four volumes: "Cupping Therapy," "Moxibustion Therapy," "Slapping Therapy," and "Small Needle Knife Therapy." It is an independent series following the "Illustrated Chinese Natural Therapy" published by Hubei Science and Technology Press, which includes "Gua Sha Therapy," "Massage Therapy," "Acupuncture Therapy," and "Natural Medicine and Food Therapy." Each volume in this series follows the same format, divided into two parts. The first part briefly introduces the meaning, origin, development, principles, effects, types, techniques, operations, tools, steps, target areas, postures, precautions, indications, and contraindications of various therapies. The second part provides detailed content on the treatment of specific conditions using these therapies, along with implementation diagrams for each condition.
