Doctor's answer:

Hello, after a child is born, their normal body temperature is slightly higher than that of an adult and tends to fluctuate more. This is because children have a more active metabolism, and their thermoregulatory center is not yet fully developed. Generally, a child's normal body temperature is around 37 to 37.2 degrees Celsius, and in some cases, the highest temperature in a day can reach 37.4 degrees Celsius. Additionally, a child's body temperature can fluctuate significantly throughout the day. For younger children, the temperature difference can be 0.5 to 1 degree Celsius within a day, while slightly older children may experience a difference of more than 1 degree Celsius. The temperature tends to be higher after meals, after exercise, after bathing, after crying, after heavy sweating, and on hot days, especially in the afternoon. Conversely, the temperature is lower in the morning and during sleep. Since individual normal body temperatures vary, not all children's normal body temperatures will reach 37.2 degrees Celsius, or experience a fluctuation of 0.5 to 1 degree Celsius between morning and afternoon each day.
