Features: "Everyone longs to see growth and vitality, and at the same time needs intimacy, security, and stability. Snoopy has become our good companion." — Lauren Mazurietti "From the mid-1950s to the mid-1970s was Schulz's peak creative period. The Peanuts brought us smiles every day, but also sadness, inconsistency, anger, melancholy, and sweetness." — Zetter Hill My personality has a potential to express crudeness and sarcasm, which is not a good quality. — Charles M. Schulz
Linus and his sister Lucy's ongoing tense relationship reached its peak—Lucy fiercely hid the blanket for two whole weeks. About the function of the blanket, Linus had some more delicate descriptions: "The blanket absorbs all my fears and despair," "Every time a day ends, I shake it, and those fears and despair drift away with the wind." During the time he lost the blanket, Linus became very gloomy and lost his composure. The hardship stimulated the development of his resistance, and he learned to shout loudly, openly claiming that his trouble was having a sister. Snoopy likes to think about important things on the roof, but often gets lost in his crazy fantasies—such as practicing the art of sleeping, the philosophy of dogs turning into humans, love, and changing the menu for dinner, etc. For some reason, he became sentimental and even mourned things like the snowman melting in the sun. He had the little owner Charlie Brown lie down on it, and of course, the tough girl Lucy, who is both a teacher and a friend, also lay down on it. Dogs are still dogs, and they still have to be crazy when they need to be. In Snoopy's recent crazy games, climbing to the top of the tree and pretending to be a vulture to scare people became the favorite activity. The curly-haired little girl Frieda's arrival was no good news for Snoopy. She seemed to be Snoopy's natural rival. Among all the people, she was the only one who insisted on seeing Snoopy as a four-legged hunting dog and refused to engage in equal dialogue with him. She quickly got into conflict with Snoopy, the most serious of which was introducing Snoopy's enemy—a cat named "Snowbell." Frieda wanted Snoopy to catch mice, but he preferred to be friends with them!
