The complete works are organized into volumes by fiction, essays, biographies, miscellaneous writings, poetry, literary theory, correspondence, and collected works outside the main body, as well as material culture history. The Patterns of Chinese Silk introduces silk patterns from the Warring States period to the late Qing Dynasty. However, due to the scarcity of materials from the Warring States, Six Dynasties, and Song dynasties, which were difficult to collect, they have been supplemented.
