Features: This book is an introduction to the works of Western artist Renoir. Renoir's artistic career began as a porcelain painter. Later, while combating poverty, he pursued the path of becoming a painter and, together with his friend Monet, pioneered Impressionism. Compared to Monet's landscape paintings, Renoir excelled in portraiture. The children in his paintings always appear adorable, while the adult men and women celebrate life. Particularly, the unique sensual beauty of the nude figures he depicted established a new paradigm in Western painting.
