Features: Lychee is a world-renowned precious fruit native to southern China. It is rich in nutrition, sweet in taste, tender in flesh, and of excellent quality, enjoying the reputation of "Treasure of China" and being deeply loved by people both domestically and internationally. With the reform of the rural economic system and the development of the socialist market economy, the enthusiasm for planting lychee has been increasing. In the past decade, lychee cultivation has experienced rapid development in Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, and Hainan in South China. By the end of 1996, the national lychee planting area had exceeded 5 million mu, accounting for 5% of the total fruit planting area in China, ranking fourth behind apples, pears, and citrus, with Guangdong Province alone exceeding 3.5 million mu. To meet the needs of the rapidly developing lychee production, further popularization and improvement of lychee cultivation techniques were necessary. Based on years of experience in teaching, research, and production practice, and by extensively reviewing and collecting relevant production and research materials, we have compiled this book, "High-Yield, High-Efficiency, and High-Quality Lychee Cultivation Techniques." This book is suitable forlychee growers, rural grassroots cadres, and agricultural technicians, as well as for students and teachers in agricultural universities and colleges, agricultural research institutions, and agricultural technical management departments.
