Features: The "Powder Metallurgy Standard Handbook" has been in the making for over two years and has finally been presented to the readers in the new century. Although some compilations of powder metallurgy standards have been published in China, there has yet to be a comprehensive, thorough, and reflective handbook of powder metallurgy products, testing methods, and standards that captures the progress both domestically and internationally in the 1990s. Therefore, we hope this handbook can play a certain role in promoting the development of powder metallurgy production and technology in China. The "Powder Metallurgy Standard Handbook" includes the most important and fundamental product standards and analytical testing method standards in the powder metallurgy industry, as well as other relevant national standards. The handbook is divided into two volumes, with the first volume collecting product standards and the second volume collecting testing standards, totaling approximately 1.8 million words. During the writing process, the handbook received guidance and support from the Research Institute of Standardization, Metrology, and Quality of the China Non-ferrous Metals Industry and the National Non-ferrous Metals Standardization Technical Committee. The handbook compiles various national standards for the powder metallurgy industry issued and implemented in China from the 1980s to the 1990s, most of which have been published by China Standard Press. Under the authorization of China Standard Press, these standards have been compiled and published in book form, making it convenient for scientists, engineers, and other readers to refer to and collect.
