1. Purpose of Compilation:
1) Through this book, HSK test-takers can understand, familiarize themselves with, and adapt to the composition and types of questions in HSK tests at various levels, helping them achieve satisfactory results in future HSK exams.
2) By repeatedly practicing the questions in this book, foreign friends learning Chinese can improve their listening comprehension, reading comprehension, grammatical structure, oral expression, and writing skills.
2. Structure and Composition:
This book includes two parts: HSK (Elementary and Intermediate) and HSK (Advanced). Each part, in addition to standardized mock tests, also provides single-item exercises. Friends can choose exercises targeted to their specific situations. Below, the composition of each part's tests is introduced separately:
1) HSK (Elementary and Intermediate): This part includes 5 sets of standardized mock tests, totaling 850 questions. There are also 852 single-item exercises, including 252 listening comprehension questions, 150 grammatical structure questions, 250 reading comprehension questions, and 200 comprehensive fill-in-the-blank questions.
2) HSK (Advanced): This part includes 4 sets of standardized mock tests, totaling 480 questions, with a set of subjective tests (oral test, composition) attached to each set. There are also 535 single-item exercises, including 160 listening comprehension questions, 175 reading comprehension questions, and 200 comprehensive expression questions; additionally, there are 13 sets of subjective tests (oral test, composition).
3) All listening comprehension questions are accompanied by audio cassettes and written materials.
3. Selection of Materials:
Most of the materials for the HSK (Elementary and Intermediate) mock tests and all the materials for the HSK (Advanced) mock tests are selected from contemporary Chinese newspapers, magazines, and literary works with high quality. The content of the materials covers various aspects of contemporary China, including politics, economy, culture, history, geography, science, and technology. During the selection process, attention is paid to maintaining the breadth and diversity of genres and themes, adhering to the openness, standardization, and dynamism of material selection. To ensure the standardization and targeting of the materials, the compilers have carefully edited, revised, and polished individual sentences of the selected materials.
4. Features of the Book:
