Although humanity still faces the threat of unipolar hegemony, we have reason to believe that as we enter the new century, human reason and conscience will gradually eliminate the scourge of war from social life. This book, written by the young scholar Wang Yiwai, is sometimes philosophical and sometimes poetic, using a masterful pen to depict a crucial aspect of human society in the past century. With literary touch, profound historical insight, and philosophical enlightenment, it comprehensively analyzes the war and peace of the past century.
