Features: From 2001 to 2004, under the unified deployment of the State Council, administrative departments at all levels carried out the cleanup of administrative approval projects. The current administrative approval projects involving the tourism sector, after cleanup and approval by the State Council, resulted in 14 retained, 8 canceled, 7 modified in management methods, and 7 designated as non-approval projects. Among the 8 canceled administrative approval projects, those related to the content of this book include the certification approval of travel agency managers, the approval of changes in the registration location of travel agencies, and the approval of establishing travel agency branches. Among the 7 modified administrative approval projects, the main ones related to this book include the certification approval of tour guides. To enable tourism professionals to better master and understand the current regulations after cleanup, the relevant content mentioned above has been revised accordingly in the main text of this book. It should be noted that, according to the approval of administrative approval projects by the State Council, the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Travel Agencies" and the "Regulations on Tour Guides" in the appendix of this book have been invalidated. However, as the clarification of the relevant provisions of these administrative regulations is still in progress, the fourth edition of this book still retains these two regulations in the appendix. The revised textbook comprehensively elaborates on the new spirit of the current tourism regulations, making the content of the textbook more substantial, authoritative, and practical.
