Features: This book is divided into seven major parts: Urban Overview, Historical Development, Scenic Spots and Historical Sites, Major Events, Historical Figures, Urban Construction, and Cultural Tourism. It provides a relatively detailed introduction to more than 40 scenic spots and natural landscapes in Nanyang, as well as more than 30 ancient and modern figures and important historical events. Nanyang is a magical land in southwestern Henan. As early as 400,000 to 500,000 years ago, the "Nanzhao Ape Man," living alongside the "Peking Man," thrived here. Nanyang is a land of outstanding talent and has produced numerous famous figures, so brilliant they are like the stars in the sky. Only those recorded in history number over 2,000. Great statesmen like Bi Li and Fan Li, scientific giants like Zhang Heng, and the medical sage Zhang Zhongjing, as well as renowned architects like Yang Tingbao, are just a few examples. Nanyang is blessed with beautiful mountains and clear waters, boasting numerous scenic spots. After development, it has formed four major scenic and tourism areas: the Wancheng Historical Sites in the central part, the Danjiangkou Reservoir in the west, Tongbai Mountain in the east, and Mount Funiu in the north. Nanyang also has the Naiyang Ancient County Government Office, the only preserved ancient county government office in China, built in 1304 AD. Additionally, it has a dinosaur egg fossil group, which experts and scholars call a "world-shocking scientific discovery."
