Features: In the vast, extraterrestrial universe, is there life? Is there even extraterrestrial life similar to humans on Earth, or even more advanced and civilized aliens? This ancient mystery, despite current diverse opinions and no definitive conclusions, has seen more authorities who originally held a negative stance shifting toward the possibility of its existence. Recently, the renowned Japanese aerospace professor Yasuo Suga and the extraterrestrial life scientist Taro Oshima published a dialogue on extraterrestrial life, presenting novel and engaging arguments. It is remarkable that scientists can propose the existence of life on other planets and even speculate about the existence of smarter aliens than us. This is because some people tend to apply traditional theories of life formation and existence on Earth to extraterrestrial planets, forgetting the differences in geographical conditions and natural environments. It is also possible that our descendants will discover various forms of life in the universe that we could never have dreamed of, and that we are not the only, nor the oldest, intelligent beings in the universe.
