Features: The overall design, text selection, grammar explanations, and exercises of this textbook series were completed by Chinese compilers, while Japanese experts were responsible for writing the conversational and listening comprehension sections. Therefore, this textbook series can be considered a crystallization of the integration of China's Japanese teaching practices with the linguistic expertise of Japanese experts. The teaching content of each lesson can be divided into three major sections based on function. First is the reading, speaking, and listening learning and training centered around the first text of each lesson, which is the core content of the lesson. The second section is the second text, designed to expand vocabulary and sentence pattern knowledge and strengthen reading training. The third section is the comprehensive exercise centered around the overall content of the lesson. This textbook series emphasizes the teaching philosophy of "student-centeredness" in its overall planning, content selection, and arrangement, ensuring that it is both conducive to teachers' individual expression and facilitates students' independent learning, helping them build a solid language foundation and improve their practical Japanese proficiency. During the writing process, we thoroughly studied intermediate Japanese textbooks from both domestic and international sources, drawing on the strengths of others for our own use. The entire series is uniformly planned, progressive, appropriately comprehensive, and appropriately challenging. The selected articles are rich in contemporary and have strong readability, providing learners with authentic, natural, and beautiful Japanese. Additionally, this textbook series highlights the cultivation and training of skills in vocabulary and sentence pattern usage.
