Features: The Collected Explanations of the I Ching, compiled by Li Dingzuo during the Zhenguan era. The book may also be titled Li's Collected Explanations of the I Ching or Li's Commentary on the I Ching. It extensively gathers interpretations of the I Ching from 40 scholars spanning from the Han and Wei dynasties to the early Tang dynasty, with a focus on incorporating the theories of image and mathematics to annotate the meanings of the classics. Its aim is to "correct the obscure writings of Wang Bi and complete the missing images of Kang Cheng." The arrangement of the classics follows Wang Bi's version, but it intersperses the Sequential Hexagrams throughout the first section of the 60 hexagrams, drawing inspiration from the Mao Commentary in the Book of Songs, where the Small Prefaces are prefixed to the 305 chapters.
