Patient's question:
Crying for two months ago, the previous treatment and its effects: The lacrimal gland was cleaned once, and eye drops were applied many times every day. Now, it has not recovered well at all. What kind of assistance you care about: How to treat lacrimal gland blockageDoctor's answer:
Most cases of nasal lacrimal duct blockage in babies are caused by the congenital membrane at the lower end of the nasal lacrimal duct not rupturing, or due to epithelial debris blocking the duct (especially in the lower part near the nose). In very rare cases, it may be triggered by nasal bone stenosis or nasal deformities. If the blocked duct's mucous membrane becomes infected, it can lead to dacryocystitis. Since the lacrimal system in most babies remains in the developmental stage for the first 6 months of life, treatment is generally conservative at first.
