Excerpt: > The great Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai was invited by a friend one year to travel to Nanling (now Anhui). To the west of Nanling lies Qipu Lake, known for its breathtaking scenery. At Qipu Lake, Li Bai spent most of his time happily, inspired by poetry, and composed over a dozen poems titled "Songs of Qipu." However, whenever he recalled his long-standing loyalty to the nation being misunderstood, a wave of sorrow would surge through him. One morning, while grooming himself at his friend's home, he caught his reflection in a bronze mirror and suddenly noticed that his white hair had grown even more. Overwhelmed with emotions, he reflected on the nearly ten years since he had been sidelined by powerful figures in the court after leaving Chang'an, yet had achieved nothing. In despair, he sighed, "My white hair stretches to three thousand feet, tied by sorrow as long as this. I wonder where in the mirror I might find autumn frost?"
