Publish Date: 1999-09-01
Features: Briefly introducing this book collects over 100 short essays published in the "Evening" section of Yangcheng Evening News since the 1990s. They are roughly divided into Life's Lessons, Philosophical Sketches, Wisdom of Life, Yilin, and Humorous Sketches. Each piece is no longer than a thousand words, with some as short as three or two hundred. Despite their simple and concise content, they leave ample room for reflection.
Career, love, family, and friendship—every glimmer and fragment of ordinary life are poetically transformed into pleasing moods. Reading it makes one feel as if immersed in a splendid forest, seeing glistening dewdrops shining among lush, verdant leaves. Some pieces are philosophical, others are full of human warmth, and some are humorous. Each creates a subtle and understated atmosphere that lingers in the heart.
