Features: Authorized publication by Watson-Guptill Publications, New York: This book provides a systematic and detailed introduction to all aspects of bronze sculpture, from preparation before sculpting, modeling materials, internal skeletons, casting of non-metallic materials, metal casting, and finally to metal coloring and exhibition. Written by Tuck Langland, "From Clay to Bronze" systematically and meticulously covers everything from preparation before sculpting, materials, internal skeletons, casting of non-metallic materials, metal casting, and finally to metal coloring and exhibition. It even explains easily overlooked details such as "gating systems and pouring" and "degelatinization and burning of hollow models," all with clarity. The writing is engaging, while providing in-depth and detailed introductions to techniques, it also appropriately and specifically points out the common mistakes and oversights that practitioners often encounter. When focusing on a commonly used technique, it does its best to include other special techniques, accompanied by a wealth of reference images. The richness of the material is truly impressive. He who would climb high must begin low. The preliminary creation of sculpture and the later stages of production—molding, casting, and coloring—form an integral whole, showcasing the unity of beauty in creation and production, art and craft, spirit and matter, the ephemeral and the eternal, flow and solidity. This excellent "adopted" book is truly practical and will undoubtedly provide us with unexpected help.
