Features: With the rapid development of network information technology, new professional English vocabulary continues to emerge. When people surf the internet, chat in forums, or read newspapers and magazines, they often encounter unfamiliar English words, trendy expressions, and a series of abbreviations. At such times, it is natural to hope for a handy and practical dictionary for reference. Currently, published English-Chinese computer dictionaries and network dictionaries in China are difficult to meet the diverse needs of internet enthusiasts and are also inconvenient to carry. In light of this, Shanghai Yuedong Publishing House, considering the emergence of a large number of new terms in recent years due to the development of the Internet, decided to compile and publish a new vocabulary handbook, which is expected to bring convenience to readers and general internet enthusiasts. This book collects approximately 1,700 newly common computer and information network terms in both English-Chinese and Chinese-English formats. Most of the terms also include brief explanations of their meanings, serving as a reference for general internet enthusiasts and information workers. During the writing process, the authors consulted a large number of authoritative dictionaries, books, and newly published professional journals to ensure that the annotations are accurate and the translations are precise.
