Is a big head always a sign of intelligence?

Patient's question:

My head is very big, my friends and classmates call me Big Head. In their opinion, my head is larger. They all say that people with big heads are very smart, but I feel that my own reaction ability is not very good. My reactions are quite slow, and I'm not very smart.
What kind of help I want: I want to know if having a big head always means being smart?

Doctor's answer:

A person's intelligence is not strongly correlated with the size of their head. Experiments suggest that a person's intelligence may be influenced by the type of synapses (gaps between brain cells). During childhood and adolescence, synapses grow and prune, and this recurring pattern in the brain may interfere with intelligence. Many factors can interfere with a child's intelligence, such as genetics, among others. If the mother takes improper medication, suffers from rubella, or has an unbalanced diet during pregnancy, it will directly affect the child's later intelligence. After birth, how well the child is raised and how diligent they are themselves will all directly affect their intelligence.
