If the temperature is below 38.5°C, take fever-reducing medication. There should be a 4 to 6-hour interval between doses, but no more than four doses should be taken in a day. Oral antipyretic drugs can be used again. Provide plenty of plain water, use warm compresses, and cold compresses with ice packs can also be applied.
