Currently at the turn of the century, summarizing and studying the achievements of Du Shi studies will provide certain inspiration for academic research in the 21st century. This is the purpose of writing this book. The book focuses on constructing Du Shi studies as a discipline, with its content mainly divided into four parts. First, General Introduction to Du Shi Studies. Second, Historiography of Du Shi Studies. Third, Special Studies on Du Shi. Fourth, Chronology of Du Shi Studies. The appendix consists of two parts: Annotations on the Places Passed Through During the An Lushan Rebellion; and Catalogs of Fine Editions of Du's Collected Works. In terms of materials, the book strives to make full use of primary sources. However, due to the vast number of Du Shi editions and the unlimited materials, it is impossible for one person to exhaust them all. Therefore, historical bibliographies and other works are also extensively utilized.
