Child's tonsillitis, taking the wrong medicine, will it have an impact?

Patient's question:

Today, my daughter's tonsils became inflamed, and the doctor prescribed a box of azithromycin granules and several packs of Western medicine to be taken together. Azithromycin can only be taken once a day, but today I wasn't home, and my husband gave her three doses according to the usual dosage instructions. Is this harmful to her health? She hasn't shown any abnormal symptoms yet.
Past Treatment and Effects:
She was given an intravenous drip for 5 days, and azithromycin was also administered during the drip.
Help Needed:
I want to know what I should do now.

Doctor's answer:

I personally believe: The maximum daily dose of azithromycin granules under normal circumstances is 0.5g. Azithromycin is mainly metabolized by the bile (50%), with a small portion excreted through the urine. Its toxic side effects primarily accumulate in the liver.
I recommend:
1. First, stop taking azithromycin for at least 72 hours (this medication has a long half-life and takes about 72 hours to be completely metabolized).
2. Use a very small amount of licorice (no more than 10g) and mung beans to boil water, and drink plenty of fluids to speed up metabolism.
3. It is advisable to visit a hospital for a thorough check-up of indicators such as serum aminotransferase.
