Features: This manual is specifically compiled for the clinical medication characteristics of nursing staff and serves as a reference tool for nurses. It is also valuable for clinical doctors, pharmacists, and medical students. The manual includes over 1,000 drugs, with the selection of medications referring to the "National Essential Medicines (Western Medicine)" promulgated by the Ministry of Health in 1998, with appropriate additions of newly marketed drugs in recent years. In addition to briefly introducing the "Uses," "Adverse Reactions," and "Preparations" of drugs, the manual focuses on "Medication Administration Precautions" and "Dosage and Administration." The content is designed to be novel, practical, concise, standardized, and easily searchable. The Chinese official names of drugs are based on the 2000 edition of the "Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China" and the 14th edition of "New Pharmacology," while the English names use the International Nonproprietary Names (INN). Aliases are provided in parentheses, including the names of a large number of drug brands. At the end of the book, there are four appendices such as "List of Drugs for Skin Testing" and "Calculation Method for Intravenous Infusion Drip Rate," as well as a Chinese and English name index. If not specially indicated, the drug dosages in the book are for adult use.
