The authors include university professors and associate professors with long-term experience in forensic medical teaching and research, as well as experts in traffic accident injury research. Editor-in-Chief Zhao Xincai currently serves as the Chief Engineer of the Traffic Management Bureau of the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau, a Senior Forensic Physician, and a Senior Engineer, enjoying special government subsidies from the State Council of China. He is an outstanding professional talent in Chongqing, a consultant expert for the Asian Development Bank in China, a master's supervisor at Chongqing Jiaotong University, a distinguished researcher at the Chongqing Transportation Medical Research Institute, an honorary professor at the Basic Medical Sciences and Forensic Medicine College of Sichuan University, and an expert for the Chongqing Medical Dispute Identification Committee. He has been engaged in traffic accident handling, forensic case investigation, and traffic safety research. He has led and completed five national and provincial/ministerial research projects, including the mandatory national standard (GB18667-2002) "Assessment of Disability of Injured Persons in Traffic Accidents." He has published 41 papers and authored 10 works, including "Compensation Medicine," "Personal Injury and Compensation in Traffic Accidents," and "Forensic Medical Disability Assessment," as well as participating in the compilation and review of a dictionary of traffic management. He has received one second prize in the Chongqing Science and Technology Award, one second prize and one first prize in local and departmental science and technology awards.
