Features: During the transition period in Macau, the localization of Macau's legal system was one of the important tasks for a smooth transition. The purpose of this work was to enable Macau to establish its own legal system, and its main content included the Chinese translation of laws, adapting laws to social realities and needs, and legal modernization. The legal system of Macau is characterized by the typical civil law system, with written law as the main form, and its core content is contained in codes. Therefore, the localization of Macau's legal system has always focused on the localization of codes, with particular emphasis on the localization of the "Five Codes," namely the "Criminal Code of Macau," the "Code of Criminal Procedure of Macau," the "Civil Code of Macau," the "Code of Civil Procedure of Macau," and the "Commercial Code of Macau," as the main task. The localization of Macau's legal system is a challenging and complex task. With the transfer of power approaching, the completion of this work is largely due to the joint efforts and participation of everyone. However, to deepen the achievements of legal localization, everyone must continue to work hard and actively promote Macau's laws, so that the localization of Macau's legal system can take a new step forward.
