It focuses on their development process, performance characteristics, and basic tactical and technical performance, and explains as much as possible the combat situations of the same type of equipment equipped by other countries' armed forces. The external features of each weapon are also analyzed based on the author's years of experience in identifying equipment, striving to make readers understand, remember, and be able to distinguish and identify main weapon equipment. Each main battle equipment is accompanied by a photo to make the readers more intuitive. The M48H "Brave Tiger" tank is one of the better performing main battle tanks currently equipped by the Taiwan Army. In 1984, the Taiwan Combat Vehicle Development Center began to develop this tank with the help of the U.S. General Dynamics Ground Systems Division. In 1988, two prototype vehicles were produced, and on April 14, 1990, they were first publicly displayed and named the M48H "Brave Tiger" tank, beginning to be equipped with troops in the same year. The main hardware level has been improved. The tank is basically based on the chassis of the U.S. M60A3 tank, with an improved M48A5 tank turret. There are six road wheels and three support wheels on each side of the hull.
