Features: The Sanxi Tang Faptie was compiled in the 12th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1747 AD) and was commissioned by Emperor Qianlong (Huangli) to be edited and engraved by officials such as Liang Shizheng, the Minister of Personnel. It includes the calligraphy masterpieces of over 130 calligraphers from the Wei Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty, divided into two volumes—Main and Supplementary—both of which were prefaces by Qianlong. The works display various schools and styles, making it a masterpiece among calligraphy collections. Not only does it hold immense cultural and collectible value, but it also provides detailed and valuable resources for researchers and learners. This reprint includes all 32 volumes of the Main series and 4 volumes of the Supplementary series, totaling 36 volumes. Each piece in the collection is meticulously cataloged, and 16 volumes of annotations (textual interpretations) written by Chen Zhuo of the Qing Dynasty are included to aid in identifying the characters and engravings.
