Publish Date: 2002-01-01
Features: New Journey is a book that tells the story of a middle school student's own version of the Journey to the West. It was conceived when the author was 13 years old, and before that, he had illustrated works like Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Water Margin. The stories in the book are both interesting and imaginative. Wang Yuxi's works are neither traditional (huánliánhuà - serial illustrations) nor the popular comics of today; rather, they fall somewhere in between, with a strong sense of childhood charm and rich imagination.
