Features: The impact of China's entry into the WTO on its socio-economic life is profound, with some effects gradually emerging. Particularly, the government faces severe challenges in the competitive environment. We must confront these difficulties and challenges head-on and formulate targeted strategies for coping after careful research. At the same time, after joining the WTO, it is necessary to fully participate in the multilateral trading system and engage in the new round of multilateral trade negotiations under the WTO. Since the WTO's Doha Conference launched the Doha Development Agenda in December 2001, China has participated in negotiations on various issues, expressing its stance and proposals. On some issues, China has put forward its own proposals or joined other members' joint proposals, contributing to the advancement of the Doha Development Agenda negotiations. However, it must be acknowledged that as a new member of the WTO, our understanding and recognition of the multilateral trading system are limited. Many issues in the new round of negotiations are highly complex, and China's current participation is still preliminary. To further deepen involvement in negotiations on various issues, it is essential to significantly strengthen domestic theoretical and academic research related to these areas, providing a theoretical foundation and technical support for government participation in negotiations. This book introduces and analyzes China's trade policies related to the WTO.
