Features: Through our investigation and analysis of past art college entrance examination scenarios, we have summarized a truth: only by laying a solid foundation can one truly reap benefits. However, many beginners or candidates with some basic art theory often overlook the instructional value of books when selecting imitation or foundational reference materials, focusing instead on appreciating the works. This leads to ineffective learning methods. In recent years, art college entrance examination questions have predominantly involved memorization, and the scope of topics has also broadened. Therefore, we still emphasize the importance of learning methods. Conducting intensive training in stages and steps, and summarizing and organizing the knowledge learned are crucial. We edited and published this series of books with the aim of enabling beginners to practice imitation through progressive methods—starting from simple to complex, from single still life to combined still life—and to thoroughly analyze, dissect, and understand the basic principles of sketching and color teaching. By selecting typical structural forms for modeling, students can fully grasp the essential elements of basic shaping. This is designed to help students master fundamental theories and painting skills in a short period, laying a solid foundation for further in-depth shaping.
