Features: This book is the supplementary audio material for Volume of the "German Language Course." During the use of the "German Language Course," to help students better learn and master German pronunciation, adjustments and supplements were made to the pronunciation section of the course material. A set of basic-level pronunciation materials was compiled, divided into two aspects: one is the review and practice of difficult phonemes, and the other is the rules and exercises of intonation. Practical teaching over the years has proven that this approach is beneficial in helping students meet the pronunciation and intonation requirements stipulated in the teaching syllabus. On this basis, we also referred to some domestic and international relevant materials to revise and supplement the original material, compiling this "German Language." This book is divided into two stages: Language and Basic Course. The Pronunciation Course includes six lessons, and the Basic Course includes fifteen lessons, covering both phonemes and intonation.
Regarding phonemes, in the pronunciation stage, in addition to phoneme exercises, key points of phoneme pronunciation were added, accompanied by illustrations and additional phonetic rules, systematically introducing German pronunciation knowledge. In the basic stage, exercise materials were compiled targeting the difficulties and common errors in pronunciation among Chinese students.
Regarding intonation, systematic training begins from Lesson of the pronunciation stage. Each lesson provides detailed rules and exercises. Additionally, intonation curves or intonation arrows, sentence stress symbols, and pause marks were added to all texts in the pronunciation stage and lessons 1 to 8 in the basic stage, facilitating students in reading along and accurately mastering intonation.
During the compilation process, we received support and assistance from Dr. Michael Pielenz of Germany, and after completion, the manuscript was reviewed by Professor Eberhard Rohner and Mr. Peter Hachenberg. We sincerely express our gratitude to them all. Due to our limited expertise, imperfections and inaccuracies are inevitable in the book. We sincerely welcome readers to point out and correct them.
This book is accompanied by an audio cassette.
