Features: In recent years, with the development of society and the increasing demand for quality of life, the study of sexology and sex culture has achieved considerable progress in China. In this regard, Professor Liu Daling of Shanghai University is a pioneer with outstanding achievements. This scholar, who was internationally hailed as "China's Kinsey" for successfully leading and completing a national sex survey of 23,000 cases (1989-1990), has visited over 100 ancient sex culture sites in the past decade and, with the approval of relevant government authorities, has photographed over 100 sex artifacts hidden in the national museum's storage. In the late 20th century, some countries published books on ancient Chinese sex culture as well. However, most of the illustrations were of spring pictures, with a narrow time span, insufficient data, and a lack of in-depth research and analysis.
