Features:
1. This book is organized using the radical classification method of the "Cihai" (Comprehensive Dictionary).
2. This book uses traditional Chinese characters exclusively.
3. The first character in the main text is highlighted with Song-type font and an outer circle, with a smaller Song-type font in the margin above the character. The character to its left is annotated with an even smaller font to indicate variant forms (including archaic characters, cursive forms, variant characters, or erroneous characters found in calligraphy). The first characters are arranged according to the "Chinese Traditional and Simplified Dictionary."
4. Calligraphy characters are arranged in the order of Seal script, Clerical script, Regular script, Running script, and Cursive script. Each script is organized from complex to simple in terms of structure. Variant forms are listed after the standard forms.
5. The source of calligraphy characters is indicated by Arabic numerals, which can be used to consult the "Bibliography of Sources Cited in This Book." If multiple sources contain the same content, this code represents only one of them.
6. Both standard and variant forms are listed in the stroke-based character lookup table. If a calligraphy character does not have a standard form, the first character is still listed as the standard form. In the margins and lookup table, both standard and variant forms are fully listed.
7. For different characters that resemble or are identical in cursive calligraphy, this book arranges them under the corresponding first character based on the meaning of the character in the calligraphy work. Examples include (ji, yi, si), (jie, jie), (nai, nai), and (zao, die).
8. Errors in the original calligraphy works are organized under the corresponding first character based on their shape.
9. Calligraphy characters marked with an asterisk () on the upper right indicate standard cursive characters. The main text of the book includes 12 calligraphy works by Mr. Yu Youren, and the main text contains approximately 44,000 calligraphy characters, with 4,300 first characters and 1,347 variant forms listed.
